The Hawaiian islands are a volcanic island chain that includes hundreds of islands over 1500 miles. The major islands are Big Island, Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, and Kauai.
The fourth largest island is Kauai, and it is in the North. There are many little towns full of culture here. This is where you can take a hike through Kokee State Park, ride a kayak to a waterfall, go snorkeling, or take a trip through the rainforest via a zip line.
Oahu is the third largest island and is home to Honolulu. There are tons of gorgeous beaches, awesome shopping, and ancient architecture. You will never be bored on this island.
Maui is the second largest Hawaiian island, and has some of the most beautiful beaches anywhere. You can do whale watching, see some of the many waterfalls, or take a hike on some of the many slopes.
Molokai is the fifth largest island and is only 38 miles long and 10 miles wide. It is a place that appears untouched and has breathtaking white sands, a fringing reef, and is home to the Kalaupapa National Historical Park.
Lani is found nine miles away from Maui and has many luxury resorts, beaches, golf courses, and spectacular views. In Hulopoe Bay, you can see Spinner dolphins doing fun jumps and turns.
Big island is about twice as big as all of the other island put together. Here you can find volcanoes, rainforests, beaches, golf courses, and lots more. There are few places on earth with so much to do.
Hawaii is one of the tops spots for honeymoons and weddings. People can get married on the beach, or at one of the different hotels in the area. In addition, these islands have some very challenging golf courses with unique scenery. Championship courses can be found in Maui and Kauai.
To see each of the islands while you are here, consider a luxury cruise liner vacation. Here you can have your every need met and enjoy the stunning views at the same time.
Hawaii isn’t just for couples. Families can have a super time as well, with the tons of different activities that await them.
